We leave the club at dawn smoking a cigarette sitting at the Rhine or on a skyscraper and looking back on the past few hours. |

Night in Venice - Alexander Chernega (short film)
The young poor musician Luigi lived with his mother in the suburb of Venice. He passionately loved music and dreamed of becoming a well- known violinist. Uncle Marcello supported his talented nephew by paying his fees for the conservatory. During one weekend, Luigi played his violin of a work of Antonio Vivaldi in Saint Mark’s Square. On one such a day his attention was drawn to a beautiful young lady (Countess Amelia Tozzi). Nobody had listened to him play before with any attention and pleasure, except for St. Mark’s Basilicas and the Palace of Doges. At the end of his recital Amelia left, without having left a coin in his hat. Obeying a sudden rush, Luigi followed the stranger. This day he remembered well – Luigi, climbed through a window into the room of the hotel where Amelia lived, and disappeared with an expensive necklace.
The musician felt offended by the behavior of the lady but having recovered from the incident, he threw the jewelry into water. Thanks to an accident, the young Countess became a witness to the event; however the sudden mutual feeling of love to the poor musician prevented her calling the police.
Many years passed and Luigi has become the well-known violinist. On day of the concert in Venice, he as he had done as many years before climbed through a window into the room of the hotel of the Countess with flowers and same necklace. The table was set – Amelia waited for her beloved.
